Born in Arese and holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Giovanni Delfino began his professional career as a powertrain engineer at Alfa Romeo, Alfa Corse, and N.Technology, where he oversaw engine development and thus first came into contact with Autotecnica Motori.

In 2008, a turning point: together with Renzo Federici, he invested in the Casalmaggiore-based company, acquiring a majority stake, becoming its CEO, and launching a process of transformation and evolution that, over the years, has made it possible to increase production volume and launch new projects, transitioning from the sole modification of racing engines to an elite motorsports company capable of designing, developing, and building powertrains in-house, starting from a blank sheet of paper and a good idea.

Following the merger of Autotecnica and Tatuus in 2017, he was appointed CEO of the entire Group.

Today, he oversees and coordinates all the activities of the Group’s companies, which, under his leadership, are undergoing continuous growth and expanding their global operations, workforce, and infrastructure.
