ATM engines are the heart that powers every type of race car—both closed-wheel and open-wheel—as well as some of the world’s most exclusive road-going supercars. Whether we’re transforming street-legal engines into race engines or creating masterpieces from scratch at ATM, every single engine is the result of tireless and passionate teamwork.
Not everything created at ATM HQ can be shown, and many of our engines are conceived, developed, and maintained in the strictest secrecy to protect the OEMs and teams that use them; however, even discovering what is not secret offers a series of emotions that are unique in the world.
Racing Transformation
ATM - Abarth Formula 4
An inline-four-cylinder engine, introduced in 2013 with Formula Abarth, became the most widely used engine in Formula 4 championships around the world in 2014, thanks to which thousands of professional drivers have taken their first steps in the world of motorsport.
Max Verstappen, Oscar Piastri, Lando Norris, Kimi Antonelli: these are just a few of the many top drivers who have put the veteran ATM engine through its paces—from the 500 Abarth’s home track to the curves of the world’s most iconic circuits.

ATM - Alfa Romeo Formula Regional Gen.1
The inline-four-cylinder engine that powered the vehicle between 2018 and 2025
the first generation of Tatuus Formula Regional cars, which will continue to produce unique single-seaters for the most exclusive events. Based on the Alfa Romeo 4C powertrain and enhanced with unprecedented details and finishes, it is one of the engines most beloved by enthusiasts.

Power: 280–350 HP (depending on class regulations).
ATM163T - Formula Regional Gen.2
The latest addition to the HQ lineup is also the first inline three-cylinder engine in ATM’s history. Developed on a Toyota platform in collaboration with TOM’S, this engine is set to power the new Tatuus T-326 in Formula Regional championships around the world.

ATM - Honda Civic TCR
Well known in TCR series around the world, this engine embodies the strong partnership between ATM, JAS Motorsport, and Honda, and has already secured victories and successes powering various versions of the Japanese automaker’s touring car.

ATM286TT - V6
The V6 that revolutionized ATM’s history.
Conceived in 2020 from a blank sheet of paper, it reached its first approval in less than 16 months, during what is commonly remembered as one of the most challenging moments in global history. Today, it serves as the foundation for V6 projects in both Formula racing and closed-wheel endurance racing—but that’s not all. Thanks in part to its extensive potential for both technical and aesthetic customization, it was with this engine that ATM’s road car business unit took shape, creating supercars and hypercars that are unique in the world.
ATM388TT - V8
Shortly after the V6 was introduced, the V8 raised the bar even higher for ATM.
Just as the V6 serves as the foundation for numerous projects and can be customized to meet a wide range of technical specifications and to pursue the most challenging racing and road-going goals, the V8 is also one of the pillars of ATM’s road car business unit, serving as the heart of the Laffitte LM1.
